It is with a great deal of sadness that I am announcing Kingdom Of Adventure will be closing on Sunday the 19th of February.
Since opening, the shop has managed to ride the economic climate with some bumps along the road but the past 6 months have been exceedingly difficult financially and unfortunately I am no longer able to keep the shop open.
I'd like to thank everyone who we have had the pleasure of calling a customer and the many of you who have become fellow adventurers on this journey we've been on.
I had planned a whole big speech quoting people such as Bill Hicks, Bilbo Baggins, See Threepio and the Goddamn Batman but nothing really fitted other than to again say "Thanks".
Clearly, we've a bit of stock to shift and I hope you'll be able to help us clear as much as we can before we close the doors on the 19th February.

After discussing with Caz and Shaun the following comes into effect immediately -

Heroclix : Infinity Gauntlet event on Thursday 26th will still go ahead but will be a constructed event. We have an entire organised play kit to give away!

Magic : Dark Ascension Pre-Release scheduled for Saturday 28th will unfortunately NOT go ahead.

Shop Opening times will now be 14:00 to 22:00 Wednesday, Thursday & Friday; 10:00 to 17:00 Saturday and 12:00 to 16:00 Sunday.

The only events that will now run are -

Heroclix every Thursday night including the Infinity Gauntlet event mentioned above.

Friday Night Magic will now be Extended Constructed format instead of Booster Draft. We still have a lot of promos to give away!

World Of Warcraft Battlegrounds will continue on Saturdays and will be Core Constructed format.
Other information -

Gaming space in the shop will continue to be available until we close. Gamer Credit no longer applies and gaming will cost either £3 or FREE if you buy something.

Customer orders and pre-orders are cancelled. Any prepaid orders will be refunded either in store credit or standard refund.

Gift Card and Gamer Credit must be redeemed before last trading day (Sunday 19th February) or be declared void. No cash alternative will be offered as per conditions on the card. Gamer Credit can now be redeemed at any value.

Reward Card stamps will only be earned for 7 days from this date (til close 29th January). After that no new Reward Card stamps will be earned.

Reward Card redemption is now only possible on purchases over £30 unless redeemed before close of business on 29th January when £20 purchase applies.

Any customer owned items remaining in the shop beyond last trading day (Sunday 19th February) will be treated as shop property. This includes any pre-paid orders which are not collected before last trading day (Sunday 19th February).

For comic book subscription customers we can share your confirmed orders with you to pass onto another comic book retailer. We are happy to recommend mail order from Red Hot Comics in Glasgow.

All products in the shop are now 25% off with the following exceptions.

Manga, Roleplaying Games and Red Dot products are now 50% off.
